wee see.
Described by its creators as "part art installation, part pacifier," Wee See features playful abstract black & white animations from Rolyn Barthelman, and a beautifully understated, mostly ambient score from the Polyphonic Spree's Tim DeLaughter. Inspired in part by their own children, the project was originally conceived as "sensory stimulation for young babies, with its basic shapes and patterns tailored to the developing senses of newborns," although, if you find yourself zoning out to these undeniably hypnotic dreamlike images/sounds at your full-grown adult job, it's totally understandable. Here's a 2-part preview:
In related news, DeLaughter and his wife Julie are currently "in the early stages of writing songs" for the fourth Polyphonic Spree album, which the group is planning to release on their own Good Records label.
Please check it out!! I work for Tim and Julie and they are so talented and amazing!! Thanks!!!
